Lena Eleser, transnational social worker, transnationale soziale arbeit, expert for international families
Hi, my name is Lena from MamaBeReal.

I’m a transnational social worker (B.A.) and your specialist for Empowered Pregnancy, Birth & Parenthood. I want to fill the support gap for English-speaking expectant parents in Germany who may feel overwhelmed.

I’m a mum and myself in a binational marriage.
I experienced the struggles
of expat parents from abroad
and how draining it can be to run after bits of information on really important matters. I still remember the fears of deadlines, missing out and being disadvantaged myself.

I am a transnational social worker, with over 10 years of experience in supporting mothers and children from all over the world.

I love what I do and I can’t wait to share my expertise with you!

Testimonials

The Navigating Through Pregnancy program was incredibly helpful, especially for first-time moms and expats. The course was well-structured and covered a wide range of scenarios that can arise during pregnancy. What stood out most was Lena’s thorough research and data-backed insights, which provided much-needed clarity and confidence. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking for reliable guidance during this journey!

During my pregnancy in Germany Lena was an immense support for me during this challenging time.
One of my biggest fears was natural childbirth, and I initially wanted to opt for a C-section. However, with Lena’s continuous support and encouragement, I was able to overcome these fears. She taught me the correct breathing techniques and specific exercises which were invaluable during the birth.
Especially since I was far away from my family and loved ones abroad, her presence and support relieved much of my fear and tension. Even after the birth, she stayed by my side and followed my recovery process, for which I am very grateful.

Based on my personal experience, I can only recommend every expectant mother to participate in a course with Lena or seek her support. She helped me so much, and I am convinced she can also be a valuable support to others in similar situations.

Unique concept of providing all information under one roof , which is required for an Expat to navigate maternity in germany. All four sessions were really helpful. Icing on the cake is Lena’s effort to ensure all doubts and queries are answered. To sume it up practical, real life experiences, on floor reality check, sharing of necessary documentation and interactive sessions.

I can absolutely recommend Lena. My partner and I were both very impressed.
Lena has an incredible amount
of knowledge and technical
expertise and manages to explain everything simply & clearly.

What we particularly liked:

Lena respects you as individuals.
She doesn’t impose anything, but accompanies you sensitively on your own path. After the consultation, we not only felt well informed, but also confident in our decisions for the birth of our baby. My partner was just as enthusiastic as I was!
If you are looking for advice that is truly individual, understandable and at eye level, then Lena is the right person for you!
